Current favourite beauty products

Beauty post after long.

Mirror, mirror.
Tell me who is the prettiest of all! :p

There are some products that you can never get enough of and as a result they make up your beauty routine. I’m sharing some of my current beauty must have products. As mentioned before I hate wearing a lot of products on my skin therefore I keep a very minimal and easy routine.

1. FAB Ultra Repair Moisturizer
This is the best moisturizer ever! Winter or Summer, this lotion is the cure to every weather type. Dry patches, dull skin, acne —> First Aid beauty Ultra Repair moisturizer had to be number one on my list. You can also read my full review of the cream.

2. Mac Studio Fix powder plus foundation & Studio Finish Concealer
Even though Mac cosmetics are pricey, it is value for money! I bought my first studio fix Mac powder back in 2014 which I’m still using now, it is highly pigmented and long lasting. I am of shade NC40-42. Since I don’t wear foundations at all, this powder is very handy in concealing pigmented/problem areas. I also love the Mac Studio Finish concealer for under-eye areas.

3. Lip Balm – Vaseline
Sold almost everywhere in pound shops or drugstores, this £1 lip balm is magical. It is one of the products that I can’t live without with my 24 hours dry lips. I love both the original blue one and the aloe vera green one.

4. Revlon
I am obsessed with eye mascara. I can’t go out without one or two coats of them. They instantly make your eyes look less tired and bigger. I’ve tried a couple of them but this Revlon All-in-one mascara is my all time favourite. I love Revlon products in general, I believe they do a better job than other drugstore brands.

5. Translucent powder
Sometimes when you apply a regular powder, we, Mauritians people with yellow undertones, tend to get a grayish or tanned look. Using translucent powder as a base absolutely help with this problem and the natural skin tone is retained. I’m afraid this will not work for people with dry skin.

6. Pixi Glow Peel Pads
Last but not least Pixi Glow peel pads have been added to my routine for a year now. This is a product that I use when my skin needs some glow and to get rid of dead cells. I wouldn’t recommend using the pads more than once a week as it contains a percentage of glycolic acid which might not suit some people’s skin type. Honestly this isn’t a wow product but it does a decent job.

Have you ever tried any of before ?

I’ll love to hear from you and about your fave products.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post, thank you for dropping by.
