One day is not enough for Paris!
I went to Paris with a relative for Easter break, it was a quick visit. I don’t have much to share about the city unfortunately except for some pictures. Nevertheless this gives me a reason to visit Paris again someday.
The first stop was La Basilique de Sacre-Coeur. We took the metro till the nearest station and walked across a cobbled street lined up with a number of souvenir shops and restaurants that leads to the iconic site. Make sure your camera is in hand as there are plenty of spots to enjoy panoramic views.
Isn’t this charming? Totally left me swooning for more. Maybe it really is the city of love because you will inevitably fall in love with Paris.
We then went to see the most famous Moulin Rouge, a cabaret, in Paris’ red light district (closest metro is Blanche). We only stopped for pictures (we didn’t have enough time to visit the inside).
Next was a little visit to Louvre Museum.
The last but most obvious stop while in Paris is the Eiffel Tower. I didn’t tick this off my bucket list though, I still want a picture of La Tour Eiffel by night all lit up with thousands of lights just like in fairy-tales. And not to forget the love lock bridge.
We ended the day with some delicious nutella pancakes and a little visit to a local market (I don’t remember the name, I was still clueless about Instagram and didn’t even have my blog at that time). Most of the pictures were taken with my old iPhone 4s and a few of them with my cousin’s camera.
What a great day in the city!
Je t’aime Paris.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post, thank you for dropping by.
